How to Stay Focus - The Key to Being Extremely Productive & Clear-Minded


Focus is something important for everyone. Without focus we can’t be productive and can’t get any work done. So, focus is needed in every situation, such as in school, at works or even in relationship. We are as human being are really not multi-tasking machines. We are much better to be focus.

The thing that you must to do is eliminating some distractions.  You can do it by finding 5 things that keeping you being distracted. For example, what makes you feel distracted at work? Is it because you’re not eating in the morning? Is it your phone vibrating because there is a text that you’re getting hit up with?

The biggest factor that make you’re not focus is multi-tasking.  You try to do multiple task at once. Just imagine, if you want to burn a piece of paper with magnifying glass and sun rays, you must hold it up with the right angle to get the sun’s rays. However, if you make the magnifying glass move around and around it’s impossible to take the sun’s rays and burn the paper.

So, the solution is, try to do block time technique. Set time for doing your woks maybe around 60-90 minutes. Just work, don’t do anything else, if you check email don’t browse the web while the email is loading. Shut up all of distractions, you must shut it off on your mind and your real life also. Then, take a break around 10-15 minutes, you can talk to your friends or text your boyfriend. After that, come to your next task, with same duration 60-90 minutes and take another break. So, work in this block time will help you to focus on doing single task only. But remember, you have to discipline to do that, to get a good result.

Comment: I think, this vlog has a good content, that is about motivation to keep focus in every condition. Also, the speaker gives a solution to someone who has trouble in focus. The speaker uses simple words in his vlog, and also not too fast in presenting his explanation, so the beginner listener, like me, will have no difficulty in understanding the speaker’s explanation.
